In May 2007, the EU Waste Directive made it is illegal for farmers to dispose of any farm plastic waste other than through an Environment Agency licensed disposal site.  Clifton Recycling wanted to provide a specialist, cost-effective disposal service for all fertiliser/seed bags, triple-rinsed agrochemical containers and cardboard waste to all farmers and growers, particularly in the South-East of England.
